if i was happy here (2025) explores the entanglement of memory within physical spaces. The imagery of houses, either once occupied or with particular importance are combined to create the illusion of a single house, one that has become a witness to the passage of time. This quilt aims to explore the recollection of past lives like an echo of what once was.
